Property and use:

The product, light yellow crystal powder is liable to dissolve in alcohol and acetone and does not dissolve in water. It is stable to temperature and is non-toxic. Absorption spectrum is 234--400 nanometer. The product is a benzophenone ultraviolet absorber which is fine stability for synthetic plastics such an polyethylene and can also be used in paint, pigment and coating industries and in making refined white wax.
