General description:

The fluid-bed dryer-granulator utilizes high speed hot air flow to make the powder suspended and fluidized and then change it to porous granules by spraying binder solution onto it.

Major applications:

This machine is suitable for use in pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries for granulation and drying. For instance, granules prior to tablet making, granules to be contained in hard gelatin capsules, granules of Chinese and Western medicines and solid beverages (i.e. granules for instant beverages) can be made using this machine.

Feature of equipment:

The three processes, namely, mixing, granulation and drying are carried out in one clean and tightly closed chamber to effect rapid granulation and rapid drying.

The machine works in a tightly closed environment and at back pressure. The entire inner surface of the equipment is shiny and smooth without dead corners, making it easy to clean and conformity with "The Standard of Production and Quality Control of Medicines" (GMP).

It offers uniform mixing and very good reproducibility of parameters from one batch to another.

The Model FL-A which is the modification of the Model FL has overcome the shortcomings of being necessary to shake the filter bag, stop to make continuous operation passable.

Two kinds of heat exchanger, one using steam for heating and one using electricity for heating are available for user to select.
