Roller forging machine is a forging process that uses a pair of fandies rotating in opposite directions to make the blank produce plasticdeformation, so as to obtain the desired forgings or forging blank. Inthe process of roll forging deformation, after the blank is compressedby the roller forging die in the height direction, most of the metal flowsalong the length direction of the blank except a small part of the metaflows laterally. Therefore, the essence of roll forging deformation is theextension deformation process of billet under pressure, which issuitable for reducing the section of billet, such as the drawing length ofshaft parts and the rolling of slab, etc In industrial application, rollforging can not only be used as a blank making process before dieforging, but also provide blank for long shaft forgings. It can alsoachieve the main forging process on the roll forging machine or directlyroll out the forging.

At each moment ofdeformation , the mold only contacts part of the blank , so only the equipmentwith small tonnage is needed . The process is simple , no impact , vibration, good working conditions , easy to achieve automation.
