Product Overview

The DP Series Single Punch Tablet Press is an automatic tablet compression machine designed for pharmaceutical, chemical, food, electronic and laboratory applications. It is suitable for compressing powder and granular materials into tablets, while providing adjustable filling depth and tablet thickness for different production requirements.

Equipped with a PLC control system and touchscreen interface, the machine allows operators to monitor and adjust key parameters such as compression pressure, filling depth and tablet thickness. The system can also count tablets, set production quantities and automatically stop when the target output is reached.

The DP Series features overpressure alarm and automatic shutdown functions, as well as a reverse operation function to help reduce compression pressure when required. Its enclosed acrylic cover allows operators to observe the production process while helping prevent dust dispersion and cross-contamination.

Product-contact parts are made of 304 stainless steel, and the machine is designed to meet applicable pharmaceutical hygiene and GMP production requirements. Working Principle

The DP Series Single Punch Tablet Press uses a single-punch compression process to form tablets from prepared powder or granular materials. The material is first fed into the die cavity to the required filling depth. The upper punch then applies compression to form the tablet, after which the finished tablet is ejected from the die.

During operation, the PLC control system monitors and displays key parameters such as compression pressure, filling depth and tablet thickness. Operators can adjust these parameters through the touchscreen interface without opening the machine enclosure.

Suitable Materials

1. Dry Powder

Raw materials must be fully dry, with moisture content controlled below 5%.

2. Flowability

Materials shall have good flow performance. The ideal particle fineness for tableting ranges from 20 to 60 mesh, with a small proportion of fine powder mixed in for optimal results. 3. Adhesiveness

Adhesiveness refers to the property that powder can agglomerate and bond together under external pressure. Materials lacking natural adhesiveness need binders to improve forming performance, such as maltodextrin, sugar, starch, microcrystalline cellulose, etc.

4. Low Oil Content

Excessive oil inside raw materials will severely hinder tableting forming. Therefore, the material cannot contain high levels of grease.
